No confusing forms. No judgment. Just a caseworker at a table with you, making sure your family gets the food support you're entitled to.
Your Path to SNAP Benefits
Step One
You don't need to know if you qualify before you apply. The only way to find out for sure is to submit — and we help you do that.
2025–2026 Monthly Income Limits
Gross income before taxes. Deductions can lower this number — ask your caseworker.

Emergency SNAP — benefits within 7 days
If your household has less than $100 in savings and less than $150 in monthly income, you may qualify for emergency benefits in one week. Tell your caseworker at the workshop.
Most households no longer need to pass an asset test. Savings, retirement accounts, and a car generally don't count against you.
Step Two
Here is the complete list — nothing more. If you can't find something, your caseworker can help. You have 10 days after the interview to provide missing items.
Don't have something? Just let your caseworker know. We can help you get it — or accept a statement from your employer or landlord instead.
Photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport)
Proof of address (a bill, lease, or piece of mail)
Last 4 weeks of pay stubs — or a letter from your employer
Benefit letters (Social Security, VA, unemployment, pension)
Rent or mortgage amount and utility bills
Social Security numbers for everyone in your household
Need forms in another language? Call your county office — language assistance is free and available in over 100 languages.
Step Three
A real caseworker sits with you — not a phone menu. We go through every line of the application together until it makes sense.

Step Five
An EBT card arrives in the mail — it works just like a debit card. Use it at any grocery store, farmers market, or co-op near you.
You worked hard to get here. This benefit exists because your family deserves good food — and now you'll have it.
You'll get a decision letter within 30 days of applying
An EBT card (like a debit card) arrives in 3–5 days if approved
Use it at any grocery store, supermarket, or farmers market
